Feedback: The sequel from Wave Race 64 is the most enjoyable game to play then any Nintendo GameCube to play.

The gameplay does have some decent amount of effort to put into with the weather conditions, the wave movements, colors, text/fonts, and frames per second, but downside is that execution with the stunt mechanics and turnings are the ones that are completely frustrating and tedious.

The championship mode is very interesting to play. Although, it doesn't have any of the same settings they used from the previous game, it does have Exhibition, Normal, Hard and Expert.

The stages are very creative concept, beautiful scenery and clever names to look at. The classic stage called southern island and other stages that are very similar to the Wave Race 64, including Lost Temple Lagoon, Aspen Lake, Ocean City Harbor, Arctic Bay, La Razza Canal and Strongwater Keep.

For character selection, Ryota Hayami is the best balance character to play and David Mariner has the best speed, aside of his turnings and timings of the stunt mechanics. All of the other characters including Akari Hayami, Nigel Carver, Ayumi Stewart, Rob Haywood, Rickey Winterborn and Serena Del Mar are decent as cameos and as part of the competition to compete in the race, but their skill levels are very similar.

Mostly the stunt mechanics including the bullet, heal clicker and spin are top priority when you are going to be the fastest player and that becomes so annoying to be in the right spots from which place you are at, depending how much speed you had with your turbo meter when counting how much yellow ticks you have.

I honestly wouldn't recommended playing Wave Race Blue Storm, unless you are really passionate with either Wave Race 64 or any other GameCube games including Super Smash Bros. Melee, Mario Kart Double Dash, F-Zero GX, Metroid Prime and/or Super Mario Sunshine. It's a different experience with the gameplay and controls.
