Sonic Adventure 2 Battle (2002)

Feedback: This is a sonic game that brings a lot of nostalgia, but it is very fustrating and a little inconsistent.

The gameplay and mechanics are really too fast and takes longer to get it done, yet hard to control to where to go, not as slow as Super Mario 64 (1996). The camera angles are so bad that it's unstable to keep it still.

The only stages that are decent are mostly on Tails and Eggman stages. The Sonic and Shadow stages including City Escape, White Jungle, Final Chase, Sky Rail and Radical Highway. The ones that make me angry are Pyramid Cave, Green Forest, Crazy Gadget and Final Rush. The emerald stages are much worse than the Sonic stages and they take time to take to find them in the worst places and they are a waste of time. The driving stages with Tails and Rouge can be challenging, but it looks nice. It also gets really difficult to get all 180 emblems and all A rankings.

The music/score are the best one and sound effects are good. The only best part of the game is the voice clips and characters are very memorable. The game cutscenes and animation are very similar to the Dreamcast version, since the gamecube version does update the postproduction of the audio editing and tweeking the animation. Even though they are long, but they might be helpful with relaxing your hands with all of the button mashing.

Overall, not a bad game, just wish it would be more consistent with the game design and accurate stages.
