Whalefall (2026)

Rated PG-13 for peril, violent content, bloody images, some strong language, and thematic content

Runtime: 1 hour and 46 minutes

Genre: Romance

Positives:

• Pretty imagery and cinematography

• The last act was really good

• Intriguing peril scenes

• Best sound effects and sound design ever to be put on film

Negatives:

• Take it easy with the audio mixing, still not a fan of jumpscares

• The structure is fine, but it's not strong

• The first act wasn't interesting

• Flashbacks seem to be from short to long

• Not much characters that I dont care
