Feedback: I will say that this is a fun sequel from the last film, but most of the elements in this film are decent.

Still good animation with cool backgrounds from the previous games including Super Mario Odyssey, Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Bros. 2.

The cameos like Bowser Jr., Fox McCloud, R.O.B., Wart and Mr. Game and Watch are interesting on screen.

I'm finding very hard to understand the plot. There hasn't been a lot of explaining going on since the dialogue is too rough to polish and the pacing is so fast.

Why was Rosalina get to be on screen, but hasn't been much throughout the movie, since she has been capturing? Why is Donkey Kong not much in the movie, while Fox McCloud gets to be in this one? Why is Bowser trying to be best friends with Mario and Luigi, but later, trying to get revenge to them at the end?

Positives:
  • Brilliant colors
  • Interesting cameos
  • Cool backgrounds and locations
  • Few jokes that were funny

Negatives:
  • Time management is too fast
  • Not enough explanation towards the plot
  • Story logic issues
  • Very few music choices that were intriguing
