Genre: Kids and Family, Adventure, Animation, Musical and Fantasy
Actors: Steve Burns, Ray Charles, Traci Paige Johnson, Aleisha Allen, Jonathan Press and Cameron Bowen
Feedback: Above average for a kid's video. The film does have repeatable dialogue, cringe moments and a few loss of focus with plot points.
It does get annoying at times when Steve's friends interrupted Steve while he get asked by Periwinkle and Side Table Drawer because it makes the pacing drowsy. The grand finale at the end is really good, but needs to have good speed and not make the show go slower.
All the returning characters are likeable, but the most interesting character is G-Clef from the music sheet area and his teaching skills are impressive. That would be a good example to help kids to learn about notes, rhythm, tempo and good heart in music.
I would rather listen to the songs from the film version. It sounds a lot better, even though the soundtrack is decent. But it has little different editing choices in the film version. Examples like rhythm, lyrics and sound effects at a few scenes from middle and end, plus they're are a couple of songs that were missing and not part of the song, which is very confusing. Including, don't give up or even songs from songs that are not part of the film.
